Fresh porridge for summer mornings
A colourful and nutritious fresh porridge will make
you feel happy on summer mornings! For the porridge in the picture, I used 2
dl of buttermilk and 1 dl of oatmeal, blueberries, currants, mixed nuts, hemp
seeds, coconut flakes, a little honey and a touch of cardamom. I let the
porridge stay overnight in the fridge. In the morning, I added some cottage
cheese, nuts, peach and apricot chunks and strawberries to the porridge. The base
is enough for the next couple of mornings. Enjoy!
NB! Try also (oat) yogurt, skyr, curd or vegetable milk for the base of fresh porridge. You can also get variety in taste from multigrain or buckwheat flakes and by using different berries, fruits and spices.
